VASCULAR LESIONS AND ROSACEA REDUCTION

The Clarity II Laser is effective for treating vascular lesions and rosacea by using a dual-wavelength laser to target and collapse unwanted blood vessels, which reduces redness and flushing without damaging surrounding tissue. Treatment is described as relatively comfortable due to its cooling system, and while visible results may appear after one session, a series of treatments is typically recommended for optimal and long-lasting results.

How it works:

  • The laser energy is absorbed by hemoglobin in the blood vessels, causing them to shrink and fade.
  • This process reduces the appearance of visible capillaries, spider veins, and broken blood vessels.
  • For rosacea, it helps calm diffuse redness, reduce inflammation, and improve overall skin tone.
  • Its dual-wavelength technology allows practitioners to customize settings for different skin types and concerns.

What to expect:

  • Comfort: The treatment is often described as more comfortable than waxing, with the laser pulses feeling like tiny rubber band snaps.
  • Cooling: A built-in cooling system with each pulse helps maximize patient comfort.
  • Downtime: There is little to no downtime. Mild redness or swelling may occur for up to 24 hours, and bruising is possible but typically subsides within 14 days.
  • Results: Visible improvement can be seen after the first session, but a series of treatments is recommended for the best results.
  • Number of sessions: A typical series involves 3 to 5 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, with maintenance treatments helpful for long-term management.
